What a lovely, timely post! I read it this evening, shortly after returning from a four day visit to a Benedictine monastery. For the last five years a friend and I have carved out space to spend in prayer with the sisters, to live at a soul pace for a few days, away from what tugs at our time. And just this morning, in the lull between morning prayers and mass, I was updating my commonplace book and added this very Hildegard illustration! She's one of my favorite companions... I'm looking forward to Summer Art Club again!
